Toward “realizing a sustainable society”
Olive Bay Hotel Co., Ltd. contributes to achieving the SDGs through its corporate activities.
The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are international goals to be achieved by 2030, with the pledge to "leave no one behind."
It consists of 17 goals, including poverty, education, and climate change.

As a member of the Nagasaki Prefecture SDGs registration system, Olive Bay Hotel aims to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs through a variety of initiatives such as human resource development, collaboration with the local community, and consideration for the environment.

01 Implemented unique new employee training and hospitality training
We have a unique training system that allows you to acquire manners, business skills, English conversation, etc. for working adults. In addition, regardless of nationality or gender, each person is active in a field that takes advantage of their individuality.

02 Supporting the employment of young people who will lead the future and promoting the creation of an attractive workplace
By supporting young people's career development and providing attractive workplaces, we will develop highly motivated and productive human resources and contribute to the creation of a sustainable economic society.

03 Promoting sustainable regional development where diverse entities support each other
We will promote communication between residents, local governments, organizations, and companies, and provide a forum for the exchange of opinions.
We will implement policies and projects that reflect the voices of residents. -
04 Introduced Biomate from the time of opening
We have installed a processing machine (Biomate) that turns restaurant food waste into compost since we opened.

05 Use paper straws instead of plastic straws
In order to protect the environment, we do not use plastic straws and instead provide paper straws. We place great importance on reducing the burden on the marine ecosystem and contributing to the reduction of plastic waste.

06 EV charging stand space
We have installed an EV charging station in the on-site parking lot.
